Morawa 22nd March, 2014
West Coast Speedcars had a great night of racing at Morawa on Saturday 22nd March.
Keven Miles looked like he was in charge, taking out the first two heats ahead of Alan Meakins in the first heat and Gary Mann in the second.
Alan Meakins then showed that it’s good to start out in front and stay there as he powered away to a win in the third heat ahead of Keven Miles.
Trevor Reakes hit the wall and rolled the car in the Feature race but he came out of it OK. Can’t say the same for the car though. It will need some repair to front and back ends but Trevor is confident that he will get it all back together for the Easter weekend at Geraldton.
The Feature race was exciting with chopping and changing and some good close competition. Keven Miles once again came out the winner followed by Neil Gava and Alan Meakins.
We would like to thank the fantastic team of volunteers who run Morawa Speedway. They do a superb job under sometimes trying circumstances.
Thanks to Morawa Speedway for providing trophies for the night, and thanks to Milton Sparnon, Ike and Mark Verbiest, Premier Billiards, and Hurricane Hiab for the additional prizes for our guys.
