Trohy Presentations 2013
Trophy Presentations 2013
A good crowd turned out once again for the annual trophy presentations and BBQ picnic at Whiteman Park. Although it was held a month later than the previous year, we were fortunate to have very mild and pleasant weather; overcast but no wind or rain.
Trophies at Whiteman Park.
Groups gathered and socialised before firing up the BBQs provided to cook some lunch.
Ike was pleased to take care of Mark Verbiest’s replacement trophies.
Mark won Season Top Points and Top Points for Feature Races in 2011/12
That’s something a dad can be proud of.
A well deserved Valued Member certificated for Paul Doyle.
Paul was instrumental in gathering up some materials and equipment for Corrigin track.
Damian North made it into the Upside Down club this season. A gentle roll but well executed.
Daniel Beamish was the Rookie of the Year. Eager to learn and ready to listen to advice. A great effort that was rewarded with some nice prizes along the way.
Keven Miles was the Most Improved driver for the season. Coming from a different discipline, he has adapted quickly to his speedcar and will be the one to watch out for next season.
Jason Falconer took out Third Place for Season Points, same as last year. He tells us he intends to improve on that next season.
Alan Meakins took Second Place for Season Points and I just love his haircut.
Geoff Pilgrim received a Rigby cartoon and a new cap.
His car will be ready soon.
